We’re delighted to announce that we’ll be guest teaching artists at the Frazier History Museum camp From the Page to the Stage. It’s a fun, week-long camp in which kids get to pick a moment from history and create a dramatic performance to share with an audience.

Everyone loves to watch Frazier History Museum historic interpreters bring history to life through drama. Now, campers will have an all-access pass to learn just how they do it! The historic interpreters will explain how they choose characters, create costumes, research and write scripts, and learn their lines. Each day, campers will work with museum staff and an educator from the Blue Apple Players to develop their own short, historic-themed play.

June 25 through 29. For Grades 3 – 6

This project is only 72% funded. We are just $2666 ($1333 if matched) away from our goal of $9520 with only 2 days to go and only $8541 left in total matching pool for all 35 currentPower2Give projects
PLEASE take the time to tell friends and family about this. How wonderful it would be to get this project fully funded!

On any given day, at least half of the residents in The Center for Women and Families’ shelters are children. They range in age from newborn through adolescence and they have all been exposed to domestic violence in their homes. With your compassion and support, Blue Apple Players will create workshops that offer a way for kids at The Center to begin their process of healing.

At only $9 a child, you are creating a unique opportunity for The Center’s youngest residents to tell their own stories. We need $9,520 to make the Creative Healing project happen and for a limited time, Republic Bank will match each dollar you donate to help us get there.
